Our best exposed small vineyard called Montasso lies on the antique path between Albugnano and the Vezzolano Abbey.
The nebbiolo is historically cultivated in the Monferrato. As the great Piedmontese vines Barolo and Barbaresco, our wine is also made from the elegant nebbiolo grape. It’s a natural wine, growing on the typical white chalky soil, that gives it it’s personality. We do not use any chemical fertilizers, herbicides, nor any other substances, that could change the colour or the structure of the wine. Our grapes are hand picked and selected before the vinification process. The great Cantine Bava guarantees an accurate vinification for a most natural and typical product. The wine is matured in old oak barrels.
